Looking for interesting work

So, it's happened. After nearly 2.5 years helping define what was the first global consumer wireless internet product, I've decided to move on to other things. Not to put too fine a point on it, I handed in notice last month and now, I'm a free agent again, and looking for work.

Why'd I quit without lining something up, you ask ? Therein hangs a tale. I did have something lined up - a consulting gig with a Silly Valley startup, helping to design a marketing program for their New New Thing. However, with times being what they are, I was told by this client that this particular gig would have to be pushed back until their next round of funding. Oh well. Thus, I'm back in the market, and looking for (here's that word again) interesting work.

So how would I go about defining what interesting work would be ? Something that allows me to use the talents I've spent the past decade acquiring: networking with vast amounts of people, being a communications bridge between hard-core techie types, management and customers, and living on the cutting edge of technology.

I've been pushing the envelope for the past decade - with BBSes, CAD, multimedia, the internet, and mobile technologies. I believe it stands to reason that I could help any company that needs to evangelise its offerings to pretty much any audience.

So, if this sounds like you might be interested in offering me a consulting assignment or offering me a job, you can contact me at <udhay@pobox.com>.
